Ciddie Lee McNeil Bullock, affectionately known as “Tookie” was the daughter of the late Robert McNeil, Sr. and Myrtle McNeil of Harnett County. She was born July 2, 1934, and resided at home in Fuquay-Varina where she lived for the past 50+ years. She departed this life on April 9, 2023, at Transitions Lifecare in Raleigh NC and entered into eternal rest.Ciddie attended school in Harnett County but had to leave school at an early age to work and help support her family. Although she had to leave school, her parents made sure she and her siblings attended church on a regular basis. In the early 1950’s, she was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Lloyd Smith, Sr. To this union nine children were born; five daughters and four sons. Ciddie worked in the healthcare field for over 27 years and enjoyed taking care of the residents. She also enjoyed singing in the choir at Miracle Temple Pentecostal Holiness Church in Fuquay-Varina. She attended Tabernacle of Praise Holy Church of the Apostolic Faith in Apex, NC, where she remained faithful until she was no longer able to attend. She loved God and she loved her family. She lived a life that was pleasing to God and a blessing to others.Ciddie was preceded in death by three brothers Luncie McNeil, Willie McNeil and James McNeil and three sisters: Cora Gist, Louise Bowden, and Beulah McNeil. She leaves to cherish her memories; her daughters; Margaret Kizer (David) of Raleigh, NC, Brenda Burt of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Rosa Baker of Angier, NC, Hazel Smith of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Christy Baker (McArthur) of Fuquay-Varina, NC; her sons; Lloyd Smith, Jr. (Cynthia) of Wendell, NC, Anthony Smith, Sr. (Jessie) of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Michael Smith of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Timothy Smith, Sr. of Willow Springs, NC; her brothers; Robert McNeil, Jr. and Roger McNeil; hers sisters Linda Carroll (Bobby) of Lillington, NC, Minnie Laws (Elbert) of Raleigh, NC, and Helen Evans of New Hill, NC; Twenty-two (22) grandchildren; thirty-four (34) great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation: 4:00 - 6:00 pm Friday, April 14, 2023 at Trice Funeral Home Chapel, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.

Funeral will be held 11:00 am Saturday, April 15, 2023 at St. Augusta Missionary Baptist Church, 605 Bridge Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.

Burial: Wake Chapel Church Cemetery in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
