Obituary For Jermarien T. Edwards

Jermarien T. Edwards, 20, of Palatka, FL was born on Wednesday, January 1, 2003, to Jerome K. Edwards and Robtivia Walker in Palatka, FL. He was known for his smile that would radiate any room. Jermarien loved to have fun and motivated those that he encountered. He received his education in the Putnam County School District and subsequently transferred to Orange County School District where he graduated with the class of 2021. Jermarian was outgoing and maintained strong work ethics. He loved wrestling and playing football. On Friday, April 7, 2023, Jermarien gracefully answered his master’s call.

He was preceded in eternal rest by his grandmother, Mary Jo Thomas – Brewer; great grandmothers, Elnora Mack, and Mattie Evans; grandfather, Carlos Singleton, Sr.; great-grandfathers, Lloyd Session and Eddie Walker, Sr.; and great- great grandfather, Elisha Mack.

He leaves to cherish his many memories: parents, Jerome K. Edwards and Robtivia Walker; siblings, Marceon Matson, Shekira Walker, Ne’Shawn Edwards, Elijah Ashford, Tyree Parker, Jr., Tamia Wiggins, and Tylashia Baker; Godparents, Charles and Archavette Word; grandparents, Ulysses and Sheila Lewis, Nathaniel Brewer, Taleshia Singleton, Karl Jerome Edwards, and Robert Walker, Sr., Cassius and Kenya Thomas; aunts and uncles, Benjamin Randolph, Devette E. Edwards, Shantell E. Robinson, Kenton D. Bibbs, Rikita Maples, Hydeia Session, Sheree Allen, Martini Session, Tyrell Lewis, C’Montae Lewis, Robert Walker, Jr., Carlos Singleton, Jr., Derajae Singleton, and Joshua Singleton; special friend, Nadiq Wheeler, best friends, Camrin Sutherland, Jeremiah Gomez, and Jaview Santiago, a host of cousins, extended family and friends.

The Edwards & Walker Family will receive extended family and friends on Friday, April 21, 2023, from 7p.m.-8p.m. at Passionate First-Born Church of the Living God, Elder James Matthews, Pastor. The Homegoing Celebration will be 1:00p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Passionate First-Born Church of the Living God. Elder Leo A. Parker, Jr, pastor of The Emerge Church of Palatka, eulogist. The burial will take place in San Mateo Community Cemetery.
