Funeral service for Willie Williams, 82, of Auburn, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Westview Cemetery, 700 Westview Drive, Auburn, AL, 36830, Reverend Anthony Smith will officiate.

Mr. Williams, who passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 at USA Hospital in Mobile, AL, was born December 3, 1940 in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required).

He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Lucille Virginia Williams of Auburn, AL; four children, Michelle Meniefield of Riverside, CA, Eric Keith Meniefield of Los Angeles, CA, Christy (Terry) Williams Thomas and Sheridan G. “Lane” Williams both of Opelika, AL; one step-son, Derrick Henley of Columbus, GA; one step-daughter, Trachia (Reginald) Nelson of Midland, GA; twelve grandchildren, Dantae Meniefield, Terry Meniefield, Billy Meniefield, Tammy Meniefield, Edwin Meniefield, Eric Meniefield, Jr., Destiny Meniefield, Joshua Meniefield, Terry (Jasmine) Sanders Jr., TeShaundra Giles, Tykell Thomas and India Williams; seven step-grandchildren, LaDavioun Dunklin, DaVatious Dunklin, Harmony Campbell, Tamaya Campbell, Lianna Allen, Albert Covington III, Lavon Nelson, Khalil Nelson and Tra’Sean Davis; seven sisters, Lucille Williams, Katherine Williams, Patricia Williams Long, Pastor Ann Billingsley, Polly Williams, Georgia Byrd all of Auburn, AL and Roberta Moss of Opelika, AL; one brother, John (Betty) Williams of Auburn, AL; one great-great grandchild; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
