Mrs. Russ was a member of Henshaw Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church where she served as a Deaconess. To know her was to love her.
Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at 2:00 PM from the sanctuary of Henshaw African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 2730 Glastel Street in Cottondale, Florida 32431 where the Reverend Lawrence Gantt is pastor.
Interment will be in the Bethlehem African Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery in Cottondale, Florida.
Mrs. Russ will lie in repose at the church from 1:00 PM until time for the service.
A public viewing will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:
Two Sons: Charles Russ (Ola) and Reggie Russ (Curlee)
Three Daughters: Brenda Henderson, Zolenda Stephens (Keith), and Sharon Bowers (Gene)
Three Sisters-in-Law: Eva Long, Gail White, and Corine Russ
16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren
Extended Family: Emerald Coast Hospice Covenant Care and the Jackson County Senior Citizens
And a host of nieces, nephews, and friends
