MRS. MARY ELIZABETH CRUTCHER PASLEY- Affectionally known as “NANNY” - AGE 89, Of Chickamauga, Georgia passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Mrs. Pasley was born on April 3, 1934 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Edith Bedell Crutcher and Charlie Alfred Crutcher. She was employed by Salem Carpet Mills and a personal sitter for several years. She was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Mrs. Pasley was preceded by her parents, husband, Edward L. Pasley, siblings, brothers, James Edward Crutcher, Charlie W. Crutcher, Ernest B. Crutcher, sisters, Rosetta Holiday, Louise Partridge, and great granddaughter, Indya Amiya Reese.

She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted daughter, Darlene (Jackie) Williams; loving son, Charles Crutcher; three sisters, Nellie Crutcher, Geneva Crutcher, Charlene Dorris; four brothers, David Crutcher, Bobby G. (Barbara) Crutcher, Phillip Crutcher, Clarence Crutcher, all of Chattanooga, Tennessee; grandchildren, Gregory Lamar Pasley, Marcus Reese, Crystal (Christopher) Redick, James Buress, Chantell Crutcher, Tara Crutcher; eleven great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; special devoted caretakers, Mary Ann Word and Bertha Fleetwood of Chickamauga, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 11:30 A. M. at the Greater Emmanuel Apostolic Church, 400 Tunnel Blvd., Chattanooga, Tennessee 37411 with Pastor Paul Warfield, Jr. as Eulogist. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment at the Chattanooga National Cemetery at 1:30 P. M. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Dalton, Georgia.
