Emma Jean Alexander passed away on Wednesday April 12, 2023 at Alive Hospice, Nashville in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 73. She was born in Williamson County, Tennessee on October 12, 1949 to the parent of Mary Virginia Jordan and Clifton Brown. .

Those left behind to cherish her many memories; her son, Eddie Brown (Tina); daughter, Melody Brown; grandchildren, Dontaveus Brown, Marcus Dalton, Jr., Sherqia Dalton, Kendric (Bethany) Hoover and Garric Hoover; 20 great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Brown; brother, Paul Brown; aunt, Emily (Walter) Rucker and Thelma Battle; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

Ms. Alexander will lie in state on Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 12 until 5 at the funeral home.

Visitation with family, Friday, April 21, 2023 from 11:00 until 12:00 at Lynn Creek Tabernacle, 117 Fairground Street, Franklin, Tennessee, with funeral to began at 12:00, Elder Howard Rucker, officiating.

Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery Franklin, Tennessee.
