Graveside service for Charles H. Carswell 92, will be Thursday, April 20, at 11 am at Forestlawn Gardens with Rev. Roger Montgomery, officiating. Mr. Carswell passed away on April 20, 2023 at Diversicare, Oxford.

Mr. Carswell retired from the U.S. Army. Survivors include his nieces: Minnie Scott, Roberta Taylor; nephew and caretaker: Jerry (Cassandra) Roberts, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Freeman and Minnie Carswell, his wife: Judy Mae Carswell, siblings, Alberta Brown, Ruby Parks, Nellie M. Jones, Norman Thomas, Fieldman Carswell, grandfather, Heck Thomas.
