Obituary For Ms. Renell Baker Johnson

Our dear mother Renell Johnson transitioned April 19, 2023 at the age of 94. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community in Valdosta, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her mother Susanna Bellamy, father Rufus Baker Sr., sister Clifford Mae Mobley, brother Rufus Baker, Jr., husband Irvin Lee Johnson, Sr., children, Susan Johnson, Bernice Johnson, Jeanette Johnson, Irvin Johnson, Jr., Wallace Johnson, Charles Johnson, Patrica Day, Rose Mary Graham (Jesse) and Victor Maurice Johnson (LaTresa)

She is survived by children Shirley Reed (Earnest) of Tallahassee, FL, Faye Johnson-Whittle of Orlando, FL, Larry Johnson Sr. of Valdosta, Ga, Rufus Micheal Johnson (Lisa) of Valdosta, Ga, 30 grandchildren, 37 great-grand children, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Honorary Family Members: Nathaniel Baker, Jr., Mrs. Annie Lois Jones Garland, Mrs. May Ether Demps Garland, Mrs. Climmie Sams, Mr. Jimmy Thomas and wife Essie Grace Thomas, and Mr. Chester Newsome. We thank you for being there for our mom.

Graveside service for Ms. Renell Johnson will be held on Saturday, April 29 at 11:00 A. M. at the Pallbearer Cemetery with Rev. W. C. Morgan officiating.
