Obituary For Jordan Elias Martinez

Jordan Elias Martinez, 19, of Radcliff, KY died Sunday, April 23, 2023 at University Hospital in Louisville.

Jordan loved to play video games, basketball, and football.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Arttermesia Rankins; his maternal grandfathers, Timothy Rankins and Charles McClendon, Sr.

He is survived by his parents, Nakisha Rankins of Radcliff, KY. and George Martinez, Jr., of St. Cloud, Florida; two brothers, George Martinez, III of Rochester, N.Y. and Kalijah Washington (Dhaesha) of Radcliff, KY; a sister, Journey Gibson of Radcliff; maternal grandparents, Linda Knox of Rochester, N.Y., Lelia McClendon of Radcliff, KY and Mark Merriel of St. Louis, MO; paternal grandparents, Julia Martinez, Dunnellon, Florida; Jorge Martinez,Sr., Puerto Rico; The funeral will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday at St. Stephens Baptist Church in Radcliff, KY with Rev. Richard Lockett officiating. Visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Percell & Sons Funeral Home.

This sweet young gentleman. He and my son hung out and he was always respectful and a ray of sunshine. Then he came to work at metalsa walked right up to me with a big ol smile. Jordan was a very humble young man. He went on spring break with my grandson, Austin and I a few years ago and we had a blast. He also played AAU basketball with Austin.
