Funeral service for Timothy Butler, 54, of Huntsville, AL, formerly Opelika, AL, will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Garden Hills Cemetery, 1218 Frederick Road, Opelika, Alabama 36801, Reverend Jonathon Benton will officiate. Mr. Butler, who passed away, Friday, April 21, 2023 at the Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, AL, was born January 16, 1969 in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, April 28, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required)

He leaves to cherish his precious memory: son, Timothy Leon Butler, Jr. of Tuscaloosa, AL; a stepdaughter, Jhay Fletcher of Boston, MA; mother, Beatrice Butler of Opelika, AL; one sister, Dr. Erica Butler of Montgomery, AL; devoted nephew, Scout Todd of Montgomery, AL; three Aunts, Carol Josephine Walker of Detroit, MI, Doris Moss and Bessie Preston both of Opelika, AL; three uncles, Otis (Johnsie) Floyd, Charles Floyd both of Southfield, MI and Bob W. (Jo Ethel) Floyd, Jr. of Detroit, MI; a host of special cousins, St. Mark A.M.E. Church Family, Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Family; Fair Street, Darden Street, Brannon Avenue, his many loyal supportive clients for the past thirty-two years, and many friends.
