Rev. Frank L. Ford, Pastor of Community Chapel Church of God in Christ, will be officiating the funeral service.
SFC Ford leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter, Hlukano Ford of Atlanta, GA; his son, Joseph Leroy Thomas of Opelousas, LA; three step children, Zandie Macholo of Berlin, Germany, Tonya Sparks (Eddie) and Fredericka Hall, both of Columbus, GA; three brothers, Rev. Frank L. Ford and Earl Ray Ford, both of Opelousas, LA and Minister Arthur Ford, Sr. of Baton Rouge, LA; four grandchildren, Kiersten McFadden, Alvin Jenkins, Jr., Anissa Hardy and Jonathan Matthew Hall, Jr.; a special nephew Coy Jones; Bonus son; Ronnie Jefferson; Bonus Daughters Mary Fontenot and HMC(SW) Felicia L. Roberts, USN; a host of step brothers, step sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Adam Ford, Sr. and Josie Ford-Bruno; two brothers, Adam Ford, Jr. and Freddie Ford, Sr.; five sisters, Mary Lou Baker, Lois Ford, Josie Black, Linda Faye Chaission and Verda Mae Jones; and step siblings.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Community Chapel C.O.G.I.C.
