Paul attended the public schools of Saint Lucie County, and graduated from Lincoln Park Academy with the Class of 1968. Upon graduating from Lincoln Park Academy, Paul Enlisted in the Marines. After his discharge from the Marines, Paul attended FAMU.
On April 13th 2023 Paul departed his life to receive Eternal Life. Paul was preceded in death by his father: John Truesdell; mother: Thelma Truesdell; brother: Stanley Truesdell; brother: James Truesdell; son: Anthony Jenkins.
Left to cherish the memories of Paul are his loving wife: Connie; daughters: Tera (Michael) Wright; son: Reginald Donaldson, Kim Brown, Kenneth Tawayne (Lisa) Gordon; brothers: John (Doretha) Truesdell, Raymond (Barbara) Truesdell; sister: Dorothy (Clarence) Ellington; sister-in-law: Mae Truesdell; brother-in-law: Earl (Frances) Jones; grandchildren: Kevin Moore, Latifah, Mariah, Treasure, Kamilah, Genesis (Gordon); special nieces: Kayla Truesdell, Romona Truesdell; god-children: Shaoline Compere, Gravon Compere, Karleethya Compere; and a host of loving nieces and nephews; the Hairs of New Jersey; the Polletts of Maryland; the Michell’s of Tallahassee; the Moores, Daniels’, and Alines all of Olesta, Florida.
Public visitation for Paul Laverne Truesdell will take place on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral Services will convene on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 11:00am. Burial will follow at a later date in South Florida National Cemetery.
