Mr. Freddie Lee Rhodes was born on May 24, 1953 in Union Point, Ga., to the late John Lee and Carlean Rhodes. He departed this life April 30, 2023. At an early age, he joined Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

He worked for Corey Macavoy for 20 years. Freddie was well known around town.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. John Lee Rhodes, Sr.; two brothers Leroy Rhodes and Johnny L. Rhodes, Jr. and one sister Florine Rhodes.

He leaves to cherish his memories a son Omar Smith; three sisters; Pauline Johnson (Thomson, Ga.), Ruth Rhodes (Athens, Ga.) and Gloria (Rodney) Gibson (Hoschton, Ga.); two brothers: Frazier Rhodes (Greensboro, Ga.) and Morris (Lisa) Rhodes (Union Point, Ga.). He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
