OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Howard Ware, 74, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at his residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Grove Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.

Rev. B. Lewis will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Ware leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Lucille Ware of Opelousas, LA; one son, Jeffery Williams of New Orleans, LA; three brothers, Robert (Carolyn) Ware of New Iberia, LA, Bobby (Anna) Ware of Opelousas, LA and Billy (Dawn) Ware of Killeen, TX; four sisters, Catherine Cain of Houston, TX, Marjorie Ware and Nettie Ware, both of Opelousas, LA and Brenda Ware (Michael) of New Iberia, LA; one grandchild, Ciera Craig; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mr. Ware is preceded in death by: his parents, Vincent and Evelin Ware; paternal grandparents, Ben and Nettie Ware; maternal grandparents, Charles and Edolia Lewis; one daughter, Katrina Williams; one brother, Vincent Ware, Jr.; and two sisters, Marva Ware Taylor and Doris Ware.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
