Obituary For Doris Roberson

Doris Ann Roberson, 90, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.

Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 5987 Red Oak Road, Battleboro, NC 27809 with Pastor Herbert C. Scott, officiating. Burial will follow at New St. John Church Cemetery.

Visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the Church.

The service will be Livestream through Mission Board on Face Book page.

Dear Peggy and family! Tomorrow, Sunday, February 17, 2024, your mother's quilt tops will be showcased at St. Paul African American Episcopal Church in Chapel Hill NC on their Black History Celebration Day!!! just like they were showcased in "THE COLOR PURPLE" musical. Thank you for sharing this precious heirloom with us!!! It is our hope these tops will be finished and given to individuals at a shelter! Or donated to the African American Quilting Museum! Future!
