Melvin Francis Porter, 63, died Friday, May 5, 2023.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Strong & Jones Chapel with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Brooklyn N.Y. Viewing will be from 12 (Noon) to 6 P.M. Friday, May 12, 2023 at Strong & Jones Funeral Home.

Melvin leaves to cherish his memory his two faithful daughters, Rachel and Carol; his mother, Olga Porter of Brooklyn, NY; two stepdaughters, Dawn and Miracle; a stepson, Bakari; 13 grandchildren; three sisters, Sylvia, Mary Ann and Marilyn; devoted friend, Abbie Gale; and a host of other relatives and friends.
