Obituary For George Steele

Mr. George Albert Steele age 72 of Catawba, North Carolina transitioned on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Gordon Hospice House, Statesville, North Carolina.

He was born in Alexander County, North Carolina on October 10, 1950 to the late Asa Thurston Steele and Lois Carlton Steele.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Carmel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

There will be a public walkthrough held Friday, May 12, 2023 at the Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

I worked with Brenda at Sears and got to know George that way. He was a really good man and I'm glad Diane and I got to know him. Our prayers are with the family.
