Obituary For Gene Ervin Watson

TYLER--Funeral services for Mr. Gene Watson, 82, will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 12 noon in the sanctuary of Englewood COGIC with Rev. Frank Mosley Jr. eulogist. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Company.

Mr. Watson was born on July 9, 1940 in Queen City, Texas to parentage of the late Elliott Watson and Clare Mae Neal. He attended Thornton High School in Queen City retired from Tyler Pipe Industry and fellowshipped with Englewood COGIC and Upper Room Baptist Church.

Mr. Watson was preceded in death by spouse: Martha Watson;one brother: Cubie Nickelberry and one sister: Othell Chamblee Tilley.

Left to cherish is memories are daughter: Melissa Watson and one grandson: Andrew Watson both of Tyler; two sister: Shirley Cook of Atlanta, Texas and Othas Faye (Doug) Jones of Tyler; one brother: Jacob Chamblee (Sarah) of Tyler, Texas.

Public viewing will be on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 2 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
