MOTHER DOROTHIA MAE MARSH – Age 96, - of Chickamauga, Georgia passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023. She was born on February 1, 1927to the late Monroe and Sally Davis. She was preceded by her husband, David Van Marsh, Sr., sons, David Jr., Thomas, Charles, and Joe Marsh, sisters, and brothers. Mother Marsh was a member of Chamberlain Road Full Gospel Church.

She is lovingly survived by her four daughters, Sally Lawrence, Betty (Calvin) Montgomery, Tracy Marsh, all of Kensington, Georgia and Myrtle Lockett of Chattanooga, TN; seven sons, Robert Marsh, Edward Love of LaFayette, GA, Frank (Pam) Marsh, Dwight (Langela) Marsh, George Marsh of Kensington, GA, Donnie (Annette) Marsh of Rock Spring, GA., and Terry (Angelia) of Sevierville, TN; fifty-nine grandchildren, one hundred and twenty great grand children, one hundred and sixty-two great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 1:00 P. M. at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 289 Dunwoody Road, LaFayette, Georgia 30728 with Dr. E. Jonathan Thomas, Jr. as Eulogist, Rheubin M. Taylor, Pastor. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment, Garmany Cemetery in Chickamauga, GA.
