Obituary For Carolyn Linda Jefferson

The funeral services for the late Mrs. Carolyn Jefferson, who departed this life on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Sylvester, Georgia. Brother Dan Johnson will deliver the Discourse. Burial will follow in the Shepard Memorial Garden Cemetery. Due to the protocols and procedures of the Kingdom Hall, the services will not be streamed Facebook Live.

Mrs. Carolyn Linda Davis Jefferson, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie and Pearlie Mae Render Davis, was born on October 20, 1956 in Cordele, Georgia. She was the ninth of nine children.

Carolyn attended school in the Worth County Public School System. She was employed at Pine Shadows Retirement Manor until her health began to decline.

On November 17, 1976, Carolyn married Wesley Lee Jefferson. In this union seven children were born and two bonus daughters. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She was loved by so many. Carolyn loved her flowers, so her family made sure she received her flowers throughout her life.

Carolyn became a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Sylvester, Georgia, in 1987.

Carolyn transitioned from this life to Eternal Rest on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. She was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Bryce Williams, Trayvion Jefferson, Martavion Jones; three sisters, Barbara Jean Smith, Mary Lee Brown, Myrtice Law; two brothers, Oscar Davis and Tommy Lee Davis.

Carolyn leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted husband, Wesley Jefferson; four daughters, Michelle (Antonio, Sr.) Williams, Katrina Jefferson, Marilyn (Ken) Ransom, Angela Jones; five sons, Wesley (Stacy) Davis, Eric Jefferson, Anthony Jefferson, Tony (Porsha) Jefferson, Cedrick (Taylor) Jefferson; nineteen grandchildren, DonTerrius, Khalia, Antonio Jr., Ashton, Ace, Jared, Mason, Aliyah, Micheal, Tony Jr., Destiny, Lakedria, JaLiyah, Kamari, Lakendra, Shakenda, Jermoris, Jeremy, Jalen; a sister, Louise (Eddie) Byron; two brothers, Willie Davis, Charles Davis; a very special friends that she loved like a sister, Rachel Gordon; and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
