Helen Doris Graham Lloyd, 81, of Greensboro, NC, passed away on May 16, 2023. Helen was born on May 11, 1942, to the late Leroy and Fannie Bright Graham in Bennettsville, SC.
Helen attended the High Point public schools. She retired from Wesley Arms Nursing Home and spent her leisure time planting beautiful flowers. Helen was a devout Christian that loved the Lord and enjoyed witnessing God's love to her neighbors. She was loving and kind to everyone she met. Her gracious presence immediately lit up the room and impacted so many people with her joyful presence, beautiful hair, creative fashion choices, and bubbly personality. She loved spending quality time with her friends and family, which filled her home with warmth and kindness. A discerning woman of exquisite taste, she provided comfort and solace while asking little in return. We will miss her greatly.
In 1957 she was married to William Archie Lloyd; of this union, they were blessed with ten children, allowing Helen to accomplish what she wanted in life - to love, be loved, and, most importantly, have a beautiful family.
Helen was preceded in death by her father and mother, Leroy and Fannie Graham; her husband, William Archie Lloyd; three sons, Dwight Wayne Lloyd, and twin sons that died immediately after birth; sister, Callie Boyd and a brother, Clarence Graham.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: five daughters, Deborah Staples, Cathy Saunders (Michael), Callie Patterson (Aaron) all of High Point, NC; Jackie Horton (Karl) of Greensboro, NC; and Andrea Lloyd of Concord, NC; two sons, Adrian Lloyd of High Point, NC, and William Lloyd (Trina) of Las Vegas, NV; daughters-in-law, Brigette Lloyd and Angelika Lloyd; a bonus son, William Belo; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Remona McFadden (Gent) of High Point, NC and Gloria Thomas of Landover, MD; two brothers, Orlando Bright of High Point, NC, and Lee Foye (Darlene) of New Jersey; sister-in-law, Gloria Graham of Alexandria, VA; two aunts, Mary Williams of Bennettsville, SC and Bessie Bright of Baltimore, MD.
