Zay'Den Trendnell Woodham

Hey there, it's me, Zay’Den Trendnell Woodham, and I know you might be surprised to hear from me like this, but I wanted to share a few words about my short but amazing time here on Earth. In my brief three months, I managed to touch the hearts of many with my smart, funny, loving, and charismatic personality. As the poet Maya Angelou once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." I hope that in my time here, I made you all feel loved and cherished.

I was born on February 15th, 2023, in Albany, GA, and I spent my days in Albany, Georgia, where I enjoyed listening to R&B music, practicing walking, watching Boss Baby, and exercising with my mommy. I loved playing with my sisters and cousins, and I always looked forward to being held in my mommy's arms and showered with her kisses. What mattered most to me was making my mommy smile and creating precious memories together.

I am survived by my loving family, who will forever hold me dear in their hearts. My family includes my mother, Phaderia Woodham; my father, Anthony Lockhart, Jr.; my grandmothers, Daphne Reddick, Jessica Clemmon, and step-grandmother, Kimberly Woodham; my grandfathers, Charles Woodham, Anthony Sr., and Charles (Kimberly) Woodham; my great-grandmothers, Jacklyn Merritt, Carlyn Jones, Delois Hooks-Reddick, and great-grandfather, Charles (Kimberly) Woodham; my sisters, Armani Lockhart and Nina-Nichole Edmonds; my aunts, Rynese Campbell, Alicia Green, Ansley Moses, Miyah Woodham, and Tiffany Burt; my uncles, Antario Reddick and Jamil Burt; and my cousins, Makayla Campbell and Nevaeh Campbell.

In the words of Dr. Seuss, "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." I hope that as you remember me, you'll celebrate my time with you and cherish the love and laughter I brought into your lives. I encourage everyone to leave memories and upload photos to my memorial page so that my spirit can continue to bring joy and happiness to those who knew and loved me.
