Obituary For Louise Davis

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only but unto all them also that love his appearing” II Timothy 4:7-8

Ms. Louis Davis, daughter of the late Ernest and Henrietta Williams, was born May 2, 1948, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Upon relocating to South Carolina in 1983, Louise became a baptized member of Long Branch Missionary Baptist Church, Gifford, South Carolina.

“LuLu” as she was affectionately called enjoyed cooking, completing crossword puzzles, singing, and spending time with family. Above all, she loved to laugh, as well as make others laugh. LuLu always wanted everyone to have a good time no matter what.

Even though she was “LuLu” to many, she was affectionately known to her two daughters as “Mom,”She taught them wisdom and guidance to help them grow. Our mom was the strongest and kindest woman we know. She endured the challenges she faced in life through her faith in the almighty God.

On Wednesday, May 17, 2023, Louise passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home.

In addition, to her parents she is preceded in death by: (2) Sisters: Henrietta Williams and Eloise Robinson; (2) Nephews: Troy Carter and Devin Wheidon; (1) Niece: Patricia Wright.

Those left to mourn her passing, yet celebrate her life and cherish her memories are: (2) Daughters: Michelle (Phillip Hamilton) Davis; and Terri (Tyrone Loadholt) Davis; (4) Grandchildren: Tyree, Xavier, Jaquan, and Serenity; (10) Brothers and Sisters: Maryann, Ernestine, Robert (Sylvia), Elizaabeth (Vincent) Sandra (John), Helen (Arlington), Diane, Maria (Benjamin), Ernest, and Harold (Victoria). A host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and sympathizing friends.
