Monty Clark Mangum, of Durham NC, passed away on May 14, 2023 at age 57. Monty had a heart of gold and died doing what he loved best – riding his motorcycle. Monty is survived by his spouse Christina; two brothers Kent and Jay (Becky); his nephew Will; two nieces Kristen & Alexandria; and his mother Jean Mangum. Monty was preceded in death by his father Isaac Jones Mangum Jr.

Monty owned & managed his own landscaping business, Mangum’s Lawncare Inc until 2012 when he managed C&M Landscaping LLC for a cumulative of 30 years. Monty took a lot of pride in his work & business.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to American Cremation & Funeral Service. The family will receive friends during a Celebration of Life to be held at Walnut Grove UMC located at 7215 Walnut Grove Church Rd, Hurdle Mills, NC 27541 on Monday May 22, 2023 from 5-7pm.
