Obituary For Mr. Eddie Clyde Almond Jr.

Mr. Eddie Clyde Almond Jr. 43, of Perry GA formally of Vienna GA entered into eternal rest on Wednesday May 17, 2023.

Funeral Services for Mr. Eddie Clyde Almond Jr. 43, of Perry GA formally of Vienna GA will be held Sunday, May 28, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Dooly County High School Gymnasium in Vienna, GA. Interment in the Vienna City Cemetery, Vienna GA.

Eddie Clyde Almond, Jr., better known as “Frogg,” was born on May 16, 1980, in Vienna, Georgia, to the parents of Eddie Clyde Almond, Sr., and Sheila Hooks Almond. Frogg departed this life on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 (one day after his 43rd birthday). At an early age, he was baptized and joined the Holly Grove Baptist Church, where he attended regularly. Frogg attended the public schools of Dooly County and was a 1998 graduate of Dooly County High School. After graduating, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served two years and ten months. Some of his previous job employments include GA Ductile, Stella Jones, and Almond Pump Service. At the time of his death, he was employed with Perdue Foods, Inc., Perry, Georgia, as an offal operator. He also continued to work in the family business on his days off. Frogg was preceded in death by his paternal/maternal grandparents, Mr. Alter and Mrs. Georgia Mae Almond, and Mr. Felton, Sr., and Mrs. Ethel B. Hooks; uncles, Curtis Hooks, Felton Hooks, Jr., Arthur Hooks, Sr., and Larry Hooks, Sr.; aunts, Annie R. Rumph and Alice F. Hooks; dear cousins, Kita, Ves, Junior, and Doonk; and other loving family members. Left to cherish his memories and mourn his passing are: his parents, Eddie and Sheila Almond; precious daughters, Makayla, Shelease, Kaneisha, and E’lasia; loving brothers, Eric Almond, Sr., and Edgerrin Almond; a caring companion/mother of his children, Kenyatta Tolbert; one nephew, Eric Almond, Jr.; one niece, Yahri B. Adams; uncles, Nate (Ruby) Hooks, Sr., Wesley (Regina deceased), Theodore (Reshon) Hooks, Douglas (Vondell) Almond, Randall (Valarie) Almond, Frankie (Barbara) Almond, Sr., and George Almond, Sr.; aunts, Mary (Eddie deceased) Smith, Judy (Charles deceased) Kingdom, Laura (Billy) Grace, Keena (Gerald) Lyons, Doris Goode, and Debra (Carlton) Hollis; greataunts and uncles, Dr. Bobbie (Albert) King, Sr., Sarah Sutton, Ethel Ross, Dora (Eugene deceased) Dennard, Sammie (Elise deceased), and Elder Roosevelt (Rhoda) Kingdom; a stepdaughter, Jalexiya Mumphery (Randarious); the Tolbert family; a multitude of loving and very devoted cousins; his cousin/best friends, TJ, Ced, Deon, and Jeremy; and the crew from their hang out spot... “The Studio.
