Obituary For Brenda Lee McMurray

Brenda was called home on Friday, May 19th, 2023. Brenda McMurray, daughter of the late Irene Hurt-McMurray and Stanford McMurray Sr., was born on June 18th, 1962 in Greensboro, GA One sibling predeceases her in death, Melvin Rachel Sr.

Brenda lived a large portion of her early life in Greensboro, GA and graduated from Greene County High School in 1980. Brenda was also employed at Bilo and Hardees. Brenda's Christian life began at Sanders Chapel Baptist Church in Union Point, GA Brenda loved was a sweet and loving soul that loved spending time with her family. She loved singing, dancing, and loved watching movies. She leaves behind one brother, Stanford McMurray Jr. (Tammy), eight nieces: Roslyn McMurray, Tameka McMurray-Ford (Markeith), Yolanda Rachell Johnson, Tiecelin Welch (Maurice), Shibre Williams, Sheron Robinson, Sheronda Anthony, Kimberly Mitchell (Annani), and Jamaya Champion, three nephews:

Kenny Benton (Nisha), Clifton (Antonio) Redding, and Melvin Rachel Jr. (Natasha). She also leaves behind a host of great nieces, nephews, and cousins, There are three special friends/family she leaves behind, her Louise, Henrietta Terrell, Arthur Hurt Sr., and Lee Walker.

Services: Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 12:00 Noon from Sanders Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Willie Chase giving Words of Comfort.

I also had the pleasure of being one if your Manager's while working with you at the Hardee's of Greensboro, and enjoyed your professionalism in carrying out your duties and love that you displayed to your fellow co-workers.
