Obituary For Calvin "Bo Weaver" Weaver

Calvin Weaver was born January 01, 1956 to the late Doris Weaver and Rufus Armour.

Calvin known as “Bo Weaver” attended Taliaferro County. He was employed at International Papers of Washington Ga where he later retired. He enjoyed working in his garden, spending time with his grandkids and sitting in his favorite rocking chair. Calvin was a man of few words and would welcome all visitors but when he was tired, he would politely say, “well I guess I will go into the house now and take a nap” that would be your cue to leave.

After a long illness Calvin departed his life at Piedmont Athens Regional in Athens, Ga on Saturday May 20, 2023. Calvin is preceded in death by his mother Doris Weaver and father Rufus Armour.

He leaves a life-long partner Janice Peek. Seven children to cherish his memories: two daughters: Tempestt Weaver of Greensboro, Ga., Sheila (Ulysses) Rollins of Stonecrest, Ga.; five sons: Kelvin Weaver, Marica Weaver, Dontavious Weaver of Greensboro, Ga., Sedric (Latasha) Meadows of Augusta, Ga., Eureka Meadows of Crawfordville, Ga; sisters; Shirley (Lynn) Heath of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Dorothy (Larry) Alexander and Leola Rowland of Crawfordville, Ga.; brothers: Perry (Pat) Weaver of Crawfordville, Ga., Richard (Denise) Weaver of Atlanta, Ga. and Dan Weaver of Crawfordville, Ga.; honorary sisters and brothers; 21 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Home Going Service: Saturday May 27, 2023 from the New Hope Baptist, Crawfordville, Ga. at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Francis Harper, Eulogist.
