Kate Carol Capers Belle, 77, died Sunday, May 21, 2023 at McLeod Health Clarendon, Manning, SC. She was born February 12, 1946 in Summerton, SC. A daughter of the late Joe and Louise Bennett Capers.

Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Historic Liberty Hill AME Church, 2310 Liberty Hill Road, Summerton, SC. Rev. Dr. George Hicks, Pastor. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.

The family is receiving friends Tuesday and Wednesday, May 23 & 24, 2023 4PM ~ 7PM at the home of her daughter, Charnette Belle Brown, 5 Dubose St., Summerton, SC.

Charnette, words cannot express my heartfelt sadness. Your mom was sooo dear to me and was always full of fun!!! I have so many great memories that I will always hold close to ,y heart!! One great memory is of the time Carol and I came up to New York to visit, from Baltimore!! You and your mom showed us such a wonderful, fulfilled time. I remember waking up one morning to see you preparing for work with the music blasting with "Dancing in the Street"!!! You were dancing and singing, of course!!
