Funeral services for Ja’Tavious Thomas, 22, of Opelika, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 1335 Auburn Street, Opelika, AL 36801 with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Reverend L.W. Booker, Pastor and Bishop Designate Calvin Daniel, Eulogist.
Mr. Thomas, who passed away Monday, May 8, 2023 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born March 28, 2001, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required.)
Mr. Thomas will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
