Marguerite Dutel Gernevil was born on October 29, 1961 at Port Margot in Haiti to the proud parents of Francilia Dudervil and Dutel Gernevil. On May 13, 2023 she was called to be with the Lord at home. At a young age she moved to Cap Haitian to live with her aunt whom she adored dearly where she received all her education. At 18 years old she met her darling husband, Wilson Gabriel. They were together for 45 years and from this union, six children were born.
In 2000, she moved to the United States to be with her husband. She was a fervent member of Eglise Evangelique d’Haiti de St Philomene and then Fort Pierce Haitian United Methodist Church. She loved her family very much. She sewed all of her children’s clothes and for other kids in the neighborhood. She was a business woman, a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister, counselor, chef, friend, but most of all, she was a God fearing woman. She loved the Lord with all her being. In her moment of relaxation, you would definitely find her with a bible, a phone praying, and praising the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Dutel Gernevil and Franculia Duvenvil; her aunt: Mrs. Colbert Mareus; her son: Emmanuel Gabriel; her daughter: Widelyne Gabriel.
Her loved ones that are left to cherish her memories are her loving husband: Wilson Gabriel; daughters: Emmanuella Gabriel (Amorse Neston), Wilna Gabriel Alexis (Tilus Alexis), Celine Gabriel Fleuraguste (Loubens Fleuraguste), Celia Gabriel Julien (Guesly Julien); step children: Judith Gabriel and William Gabriel; siblings: Joceline Dutel Gernevil, Therese Dutel Gernevil and family, Duquene Dutel Gernevil and family, Elius Elisnor and family; grandchildren: Wadline Gabriel, Rose Junelyne St Pierre, Amosdeline Neston, Rebecca Neston, Stanley Neston, Tyler Alexis, Tiana Alexis, Chelsea Gabriel, Ryan Gabriel, Heavenly Fleuraguste, Kingsley Fleuraguste, Liyanah Julien, Skylar Julien; great grandchild: Serenity Gabriel Paul; in-laws: Elis`abeth Antenor and family, Jasmine Alexandre and family, Rose Marie Edouard and family, Renel Edouard and family, Elvariste Mareus and family; close friends: Eveline Thimot, Anide John Simeus; and a host of other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
