Jasper Ogburn, Jr. of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest
of Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Clarksville Health and
Rehab of Clarksville, VA at the age of 72. He was born in
Buffalo Junction, Virginia to the late to the late Jasper and
Mable Dell Ogburn.
Jasper Junior attended school in Mecklenburg County, VA. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and became a member of the Silone Baptist Church in Chase City, VA. His past time and enjoyment was watching old western movies.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by
three sisters. He leaves to cherish his memories; one son, Antione Tracey of Alexandria, VA; five brothers, Reverend James E. Ogburn (Lena) of Fayetteville, NC, Alfreddie Ogburn of Arlington, VA, Michael Ogburn (Valerie) of Maryland, John R. Ogburn of Front Royal, VA and David Ogburn of Fayetteville, NC; two sisters, Catherine Ogburn of Fayetteville, NC and Elizabeth A. Pulliam (Morton, Jr.) of Arlington, VA; two maternal aunts, Shirley Johnson of Pineville, NC and Dorothy Kearse of Conyers, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and numerous caring friends.
The Ogburn Family would like to give a very
loving appreciation to Estelle Powell for being there for
their brother during his time of need.. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being there for him until the day the Lord called him home. Thank you and we love you
