Mrs. Susanne Stephens was born August 21, 1958 in Newport News, VA to the late Milton and Gloridine Brooks.
Susanne attended Pembroke High School in Hampton, VA., and then enlisted in the United States Army where she proudly served for over 2 years.
Susanne worked as an Accounts Payable Coordinator at Foundation For Excellence in Tallahassee, FL for over 10 years.
Susanne gave her life to Christ at an early age and was an active member of Union Baptist Church in Newport News, VA. She then served at Christian Heritage Church for over 20 years.
Prayer was an essential part of her life and at every opportunity she encouraged others to lean on their faith and the word of God.
Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of over 41 years: Randolph Stephens; her son: Darrell (Chanel) Stephens and granddaughter Leilani of Lake Worth, FL; her brothers: Milton Brooks (Joyce) of Newport News, VA, Donald Brooks (Virginia), David Brooks (Gioia) of Atlanta, GA and Michael Brooks (Juanita) of Columbia, SC; her sisters: Rosemary Butler (James) of Hampton, VA and Gloria Freeman of Raleigh, NC; and a host nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Memorial Services will convene on Friday, June 2, 2023 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 11:00am.
