May the Lord bless Mrs. James' family. We are so sorry for your great loss. Mrs. James will never be forgotten. Even during the month of May she was ushering, teaching Sunday school, and cooking wonderful meals for others. Today she walks streets of gold. We will never forget her words of wisdom. May the Lord comfort you! Love, Lathan Golightly and Sarah Golightly

The James' family have my sympathy. I had used to work with her at S & S manufacturing. She was a woman who gave me good advice. She was a sweet person who will be miss. Virginia M.

I will alway carry the sweet memories in my heart that I shared with my Sweet Aunt Lillian. I will aways remember the walk we had on the beach. Every time I talk with her on the phone. She had the sweet spirit. I will me you Dearly. But you will always be in my heart. Sandy

"well done thy good and faithful servant, thy work down here is done. You fought a good fight but the battle is won. So many many, precious memories your spirit will forever be with us guiding us along the way, I cant begin to tell you the impact you had on my life allowing me at 4:30 in the morning to come in your home with a bed already made for me. You would cook breakfast; I would say I'm not hungry, you would say you're in my house NOW EAT and I did to. Little things gave you such great pleasure in doing and all was so gratefully appreciated,You will be missed, Anderson, William families,

"Sorrow is a fruit that God does not place on limbs too weak to bear it." Mrs James was a stalwart soldier in our God's army. Our last conversation was on Mothers Day and she was as sweet and gentle as I have ever known her to be. When we gave her Mothers Day gift, she wanted to know why she kept being rewarded for doing what she and the late Ella Gist were supposed to do as Christians? I assured her that we appreciated her these 20 years later. She and Mrs Gist NEVER missed a Sunday visiting Lonnie and me when he was in the hospital all those years ago. I shall never forget her religion in action. Rest well Mrs James. I shall always think of you with love and deep appreciation,
