Barnes, Minister Dorothy, A resident of Montgomery, AL, departed this life on Friday, June 2, 2023. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 11:00AM from Morgan Ave Baptist Church with a burial following in Bethesda Cemetery, Ada, AL.

Minister Barnes will lie in state on Friday June 16, 2023 from 1-8PM at Phillips-Riley Chapel, and at the church on Saturday, June 17, 2023 one hour prior to services.

NOTICE: Please be mindful that the State of Alabama and the CDC have advised that we limit gatherings and that individuals who are ill and or are at-risk (e.g., elderly, immune-compromised) should be encouraged to stay home. Social Distancing Practices will be observed during the visitation and service.
