Obituary For Mary Elizabeth Mitchell

Mary Elizabeth Mitchell, 90, of Richmond, departed this life June 4, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, James P. Mitchell. Surviving are her children, Gwendolyn Maddox, Nathaniel Mitchell and Angela Adams (Christopher); five grandchildren, Carl Jr. and Cornelius Maddox, Tyler, Aliyah and Jamie Adams; one niece; nephews; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E Brookland Park Blvd. where viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2023. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 9 at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street. Dr. Earl M. Brown officiating. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
