Memorial service 11:00 am Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Hillsdale Baptist Church, 1601 Cherry St, Rocky Mount, NC 27801. Rev. James Stewart, Pastor and Rev. Dennis Jones, Eulogist.

Mrs Jones - I was overjoyed to see DJ at my mother's service last year, however; I would have never thought it was the last opportunity to chat with him. We briefly reminisced about high school being the last time we ran into one another. He appeared so vibrant and happy. DJ was one of our crew we would pile into his VW and travel RyMt for some good clean fun. He will forever be in our memories and in our heats.
