Funeral service for Jimmy Dumas, 66, of Opelika, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, Reverend Roger Jones will officiate.

Mr. Dumas, who passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, was born July 24, 1956, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, June 9, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

He leaves to cherish his memory: three children, Stephanie Stewart of Phenix City, AL, Omegal Lockhart (Terpekas Lockhart) of Opelika, AL and Anthony Dumas of Auburn, AL; seven grandchildren, Miesha Stewart, Takeya Stewart, Stephan Stewart, Ty-Tiana Lockhart, Or’Tavious Thomas, Zy’Keria Thompson and Alpha-Kailee Thompson; nine great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
