Albert Anthony Linton, age 62, passed away at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, June 8, 2023.

Born in Barbados, West Indies to Irvine Linton and Lucille Linton (nee Streek) on November 5, 1960. He was the second of four children.

Albert spent many of his childhood to young teen years as a member of the Barbados Boy Scouts Association. Hazelwood was definitely a second home and many fond memories were retold throughout the years.

As a teenager he did many jobs, including playing in a steel band for visitors of Sam Lord’s Castle.

The family emigrated to the United States in 1977. He graduated from Fort Hamilton High School in Brooklyn, New York. He worked a variety of jobs, most notably for Shandell Blitz, a law firm, as a paralegal.

He was an independent Process Server and a Notary Public for many years.

He was a member of the Sons of St. George Organization and served as a Master.

Albert moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2005. He had a wide social network. He played cricket with the Metropolitan Club, the Conrad Hunte Community and Cricket Club Atlanta, Inc and was active in the Georgia Supreme Cricket League.

Albert was married twice, but both marriages ended due to spousal death and permanent separation.

He is survived by his mother, Lucille Linton-Grannum; his siblings Lucina, Lorraine and Patrick Linton; his niece, Amanda; his nephews Patrick Daniel, Jason, Brandon and James; his great-niece Josephine and his great-nephew Simon.
