Mrs. Sylvia Laverne James Shields, 74, was born on Saturday, December 4, 1948 and departed this life on Saturday, June 10, 2023.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Holloway Memorial Funeral Home Inc. 2502 NC Hwy 55, Durham, NC.; friends and family visitation 10:00 to 11:00 am., funeral service at 11:00 am.
