Stephen R. Hawkins, 72, entered in to rest Sunday, June 18, 2023, at his residence in Augusta, Ga.

He was the sixth child born to the late Henry and Isadora Hawkins.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Jacqueline Evans Hawkins; daughter, Sonje Rose Hawkins; sister, Janice Rice; beloved sisters-in-law, Bridget B. Evans, Stephanie (William) Myers; brother-in-law, Thomas S. Evans; dear friend, Joanne Washington; a host of nieces nephews family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers please donate in his name to the American Heart Association.

A graveside celebration of life will be 11:00 AM, Monday, June 26, 2023, at Westover Memorial Park. The attire is casual dress.
