Funeral service for Marshall Howard, 79, of Opelika, AL, will be at 12:00 noon, Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Christ Temple Holiness Church, 610 Clanton Street, Opelika, AL, 36801 with interment in Town Creek Cemetery, 1150 South Gay Street, Auburn, AL, 36830, Bishop Kenneth Carter, Sr., Pastor and Officiating, Pastor Dennis Howard, Eulogist.

Mr. Howard, who passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023 at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama, was born September 2, 1943, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, June 30, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Mr. Howard will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory: five children, Marcella Howard, Sidney Howard both of Atlanta, GA, Stanley Howard, Marcus Howard both of Auburn, AL and Marlin Howard of Opelika, AL; one sister, Vickey Howard-Myers of Boston, MA; two brothers, Dennis Howard of Boston, MA and Emmanuel Howard of New Orleans, LA; one aunt, Mary Stephens of Auburn, AL; one sister-in-law, Barbara Howard of Auburn, AL; special nephew, Dennis (Priscilla) Howard of Opelika, AL; caregiver, Angela O’Neal of Opelika, AL; eight grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
