Mrs. Dolly Dimple Miley was born on September 21, 1940 in Brooks County, Georgia to the late Mr. Richard Miles, Sr. and Mrs. Nettie Mae Miles. She was a resident of Brooks County, where she received a high school education.

She was employed at Levi’s of Valdosta, Georgia, where she retired after 30 years of dedicated employment as well as 25 years of employment in the laundry department at Adel Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her sister Susie Lane and one brother Richard Miles, Jr.

Dolly leaves to cherish her memories; loving family members including a daughter Joann Jenkins, Ken James, Jason and Beverly Jenkins and a loving sister-in-law Mrs. Annette Miles all of Barney, GA; two God daughters Shanta Outlaw, Berlin, GA and Kimberly Walton, Valdosta, GA; a God son Curtis and Felicia Hampton, Jackson, FL and a host of special nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 1, 2023 at the Stevens-McGhee chapel from 12PM-2PM.

Home going services will be Sunday, July 2, 2023 at 2PM at Welcome Hope Church with Rev. P. Adams, officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery. Visit this website or our Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home Facebook page to view a livestream of the celebration.
