Ruebina Jeanlouis Hibbert age 60, a resident of West Palm Beach, Florida quietly closed her eye’s and departed this earthly life on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.We request your prayers for the Family and friends at this time……….

Obituary

Reubina Jeanlouis Hibbert was born on January 24, 1963 to Reuben Johnson Sr. and Evelyn

Rogers Johnson in Belle Glade, FL. She was named Reubina Vanetta Johnson. She spent the

last years of her life with her daughter, Kari as her caregiver and grandchildren in the comfort of

her home. Reubina fought a good long fight until God called her home. She transitioned to her

heavenly home on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

Reubina, affectionately known as Bum Bum was raised in Belle Glade, FL. She grew up

regularly attending St. John Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir.

While attending Glades Central High School she played the piccolo, and flute in the school

band. And was a member of the school chorus. Reubine loved the arts, such as vocal and

instrumental music, dance,and theater. She was an amazing singer and won various contests

and awards, throughout her childhood and adult life. She graduated from Glades Central High

School with honors in 1981. After High School she attended the University of Florida, in

Gainesville. She completed a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing (with honors), at Florida

Atlantic University. A few years later she completed her Master's Degree of Science in Nursing

at Florida Atlantic University. And became an advanced registered nurse practitioner, ARNP

specializing in Geriatrics and wound care. Reubina worked in various hospitals and healthcare

facilities throughout Palm Beach County. In addition to, providing free healthcare services to the

community. She was also a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.

Rebuina was a devoted member of Orthodox Baptist Church, where she served as the Choir

and Zion Praise Ensemble director for many years. Organized the musical and theater portion of

vacation bible school. She also spearheaded the Annual Living Christmas Tree program hosted

at Orthodox. She started the youth praise dance team as well. Rebunia loved to travel, attended

concerts, plays, and visited museums. A few of her favorite things to do was attending her

family’s (Peter Rice) annual family reunion, and attending her grandchildren's choirs, dance

performances, and athletic games.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ruben Johnson Sr., and sister Annette Hawkins.

She leaves to cherish her memories and continue her legacy her mother Evelyn Rogers

Johnsion, a brother Reuben Johnson Jr. (Avis), her daughter Kari Jeanlouis-Haliburton, two

sons Markenston Jeanlouis, and Jelani Jeanlouis. Two god daughters and god son that she

loved as her own Natasha Bruno, Mariah Stacey, and Lorenzo Atwell. Five grand daughters

Sakaria Haliburton, Savonya Haliburton, Lazorah Atwell, Yara Jeanlouis, and Sakeithia Smith.

Six grandsons Sataria Haliburton Jr., Sakian Haliburton, Syeed Haliburton, Kingston Jeanlouis,

Bryce Jeanlouis, and SaKing Smith. Five nieces Angelicka Hawkins, Lakeira Ford, Raven

Johnson, Kennedy Johsnon, and Brooklyn Johnson. A nephew Katotis Lovely. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends….
