Theodore McNealy, Jr.

Theodore McNealy, Jr. was born on December 20, 1947 to the late Ossie Bradley White and Theodore McNealy, Sr. in Fort Pierce, FL. He attended the local schools of Saint Lucie County and graduated from Lincoln Park Academy in 1966. Theodore being the noble servant that he was decided to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Air Force in November of 1967. While serving his country, Theodore occupied his time furthering his education in Business Administration. After his time of service, he was honorably discharged.

Fate would have it that he met and married the love of his life, Lydia Diane Epps on August 1, 1970 to which four beautiful children were born. To support himself and his family, Ted worked as a heavy equipment operator, the asphalt company, and even owned his own lawn service named TeddyLyd Lawn Service. He was a hard worker and great provider for his family. In his spare time he could be found bowling, fishing, and playing games with family. He also had an undeniable love for the Miami Dolphins.

In the stillness of the afternoon on June 24, 2023, Theodore quietly slipped away to receive the rest that he greatly deserved. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ossie Bradley White; father, Theodore McNealy, Sr.; step-mother, Robbie McNealy; grandparents, Millard and Bertha McNealy; siblings, Terry Armstrong, Wayne McNealy, Lucille Armstrong, Christine Day; cousin, Doris Benjamin; mother-in-law: Lenora Murphy; brother-in-law: Kenneth Epps.

Left to cherish his precious memories are his loving and devoted wife of 52 years: Lydia Diane McNealy; children: Theresa Smith; Larryton McNealy, Sr. (Shontella), Brian McNealy (Trenese), Tishunda McNealy; grandchildren: Larryton McNealy, Jr., Calvin Smith, Jr., Derek Biaselli, Jr., Devin McNealy, Britni Robinson, Jeniya McNealy, Brielle McNealy, Bryce McNealy, Brayden McNealy; siblings: Deloris McIntyre, Robert Armstrong, John McNealy, Patricia Thornton, Theresa Anderson (Kevin), Cynthia Terry (Melvin), Tony Pulliam; father-in-law: Luke Murphy; sisters-in-law: Millie Thomas (Rodney), Karen Murphy, Erika Murphy; close friends: Harry Ferguson, Larry Davis, Sr., and Greg Simpson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and sorrowing friends who will miss him dearly.

Public visitation for Theodore McNealy, Jr. will take place on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at First Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park.
