Celebration of Life to a Wonderful Warrior of God

Sandra Miller was born June 1,1953 in Rutherfordton, NC and departed this life in the Arms of Jesus on July 1, 2023, in Charlotte, NC. She was the daughter of late Norris Pat Miller and Corine Watkins Miller of Rutherfordton, NC.

Sandra attended Carver High School in 1969 and graduated from Isothermal Community College in 1972. She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant for fifteen years at Northwood Nursing Center in Shelby, NC. She attended Holy Temple #2 of Forest City, NC, Angel Divine of Rutherfordton, NC and The Praising Place Church of Charlotte, NC. Bishop Marcus Strong was her real real prayer partner.

She was a spirit filled woman who loved God, her family, and friends. In her ministry she visited nursing homes in Charlotte, NC as well as Rutherfordton, NC and had an impact on many people wherever she went.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Miller.

Sandra leaves all her love and fond memories to her children: Chris Miller and wife Angela Miller of Spindale, NC, April Miller Barbee (Charles) of Charlotte, NC, one brother, James Miller (Gladys) of Newton, NC, three sisters, Hattie Cash (Jim) of Rutherfordton, NC Rutherfordton, Francis Hines of Boiling Springs, NC and Barbara Nelson of Jackson, FL., five grandchildren, Jasmine Allen, Te’acah Allen, Cassondra Allen,

Tiesha Allen all of Charlotte, NC and Zebulun Bachelor of Spindale, NC, five great- grandchildren, Serenity Minor, Ava James, Jah’san Ingram, Nevaeh James, Ja’hana Ingram all of Charlotte, NC, a host of nieces, nephews, whom she loved dearly.one Special nephew that she raised, Archie Miller, one uncle, Raymond Watkins of Gastonia, NC and one aunt, Margaret Schenck of Stanley, NC, special mentions of her two best friends of over 60 years Martha Rae Clawson of Charlotte, NC and Mary Miller of Spindale, NC and Vernia McDowell of Forest City, NC, and her dear friend Hasan Ingram of Charlotte, NC. And her dog “Tiffany” her guardian angel and who was always by her side. at home.
