Dearie Tyshawn Beckford was born October 16, 2003, in New Haven, Connecticut. He peacefully departed this life on July 15, 2023, at UNC-Chapel Hill.

Dearie attended Special Ed classes until his health would not allow him to attend. Although Dearie was Autistic, he was an adequate sketcher and could draw anything by memory.

Dearie spent a lot of time in the hospital, when you went into his room, he would call your name and give you that big smile and return to drawing.

Dearie leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Jennifer Nabors (James Rabb) of Raleigh, NC; his father Chrishawn Beckford of New Haven, Connecticut; two sisters Janasia A. Nabors of Raleigh, NC, and Damoni Beckford of Apex, NC. Grandmother Shirley Nixon of Apex, NC, Grandfather Edward Nabor of Kissimmee, Fla. One Aunt, a host of Great Aunts, Great Uncles, Cousins, relatives, and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Trice Funeral Home Chapel, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
