EDNA JANE COLLIER was born in Louisville, Mississippi to the late Jimmie Lee and the late Sadie Fulwiley.
Mrs. Collier, affectionately known to family as “Aunt Jane” or “Janie”, received her education in the Louisville, Mississippi School System. On December 25, 1952, she married the late Reverend Robbie E. Collier. They were married for over 50 years and their union was blessed with six children.
She was an active member in her church and in the community. She served in the Mitchell Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Senior Usher Board, Senior Choir, Camp Curtin Historical Society, Communion Steward and was a Sexton.
She was a lifetime member of the Keystone Mother of Multiples (KMOM). She was also a member of the Ministers Wives and Widows.
Mrs. Collier enjoyed going to church. She loved taking care of her children with a host of other children. She also enjoyed gardening, shopping and most of all talking on the phone with her sisters for hours. She was a joyful and feisty lady.
Edna Jane Collier, at the age of 92, peacefully transitioned into eternal life on Friday, July 14, 2023 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly Jean Collier, also by her brothers , Billy J., Big Dock and Lil Dock Fulwiley. She leaves to cherish memories of her; her children, Benjamin "Benj”, Robert, Charlene, Rodney and Regina; her grandchildren, Kelley (Albert), Tonda, Sabrina and Odyssey; great -grandchildren, Kiayan, Kimora, Khamani, Kaniel, Aniyah and Kaliyah; her siblings, Ollie M. Dawkins of Michigan, Lula Pearl Worthy of Wisconsin, Sarah J. North-Green of Michigan, Lois Ball and husband, John “Sonny“ Ball of Mississippi, Clara Davis and husband, Charles Davis of Illinois, Devon and Vernon Fulwiley of Illinois; her only surviving uncle, Crissy Lee Fulwiley of New Jersey and loving sisters-in-law, Aruth Fulwiley and Charlene Collier, both of Harrisburg.
Edna's life will be celebrated at 12 Noon on Friday, July 21, 2023 in the Sanctuary of The Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 212 N. Progress Avenue, Harrisburg with viewing and visitation 10:00 a.m. until 12 Noon and burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
