James Earl Mitchell

KNOXVILLE - James Earl Mitchell- age 52 of Knoxville passed away on July 14, 2023. He was preceded Father Rev. James Earl Chesney, Jr., Mother, Virginia Mitchell, Grandparents; a nephew and other relatives.

He is survived by Daughter; Jashara Mitchell; Sister LaTonya Mitchell (Tiny); Uncle, Jack Lewis Chesney, Sr.; Aunt Virginia Chesney; Nieces Ashley Nicole, Monica Renee; a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 11:00-12:00 with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 12:00 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Dr. Harold Middlebrook officiating.

The final resting place will be at the Mt. Olive Cemetery immediately following the service. A white dove release will conclude. Unity Mortuary is honored to serve this family.
