Funeral services for Robert Cadenhead, 65, of Camp Hill, Alabama, will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Mt. Lovely Missionary Baptist Church, 21900 Senator Claude Pepper Drive, Camp Hill, AL 36850 with interment in the church cemetery, Reverend Dr. Bernard Harris will officiate.

Reverend Cadenhead, who passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, was born September 11, 1957 in Macon County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Reverend Cadenhead will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

He leaves behind cherished memories to: his devoted wife of 35 years, Shirley Ware Cadenhead, who was his beloved Queen. Additionally, he is survived by two sisters: Lou Bertha Mason residing in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mozell (Sylvester) Newton of Loachapoka, Alabama.

Among his extended family are four brothers-in-law: John Lewis McCurty of Shorter, Alabama; Franklin (Linda) Ware Jr. and Jerry Lee Louis Ware, both from Opelika, Alabama; and Christopher "Thomas" (Rose) Ware from Orange Park, Florida. Two sisters-in-law, Mary Francis (Edward) Heard of Dadeville, Alabama, and Mary Lynda Ware of Camp Hill, Alabama, also mourn his passing.

Additionally, Robert leaves behind cherished nephews, Stanley (Shanjaril) Black of Mobile, AL and Willie Frank (Alma) Black Jr. of Phenix City, AL, as well as a special niece, Lisa (Mitchell) Hutchinson of Salem, AL. He also leaves behind a large and loving extended family, including numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, clergy, and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
