George Bostick Jr. born in Clearwater, FL on August 20, 1942, to the late George Bostick Sr. and Bernice Bostick. He accepted Christ as his Savior early and attended the Apostolic Church of Jesus and St. John Primitive Baptist Church.
George was preceded in death by his parents, George Bostick Sr. and Bernice Bostick, a brother, Sherman Bostick, and his great-grandson, Ashton Obrian Smith.
George leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife of 60 years, Doris Falana Bostick; six children, Theresa Ransome, Tonja Ferguson, Shawn (Dwayne) Latta, Brian (Regina) Bostick, Shawanda (Charles) Floyd, and Brett Bostick; eighteen grandchildren, Marcus, Michael (Marlenne), Ryan, Justin, Jeremy, Christopher (Sharone), Brett Jr., Alanna, Courtney, Simone, Ashley, Jasmin, Bria, Brandon, Destiny, Sydni, Tyler, Mason, and twenty great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lee Andrew Bostick and Nathan (Ethel) Bostick; three sisters, Barbara Jean (Green) Davidson, Roxian (Leonard) Streeter, Linda (Gene) Suggs; mother in-law, Gladys Falana; six sisters in-law, Yvonne (Josh) Smith, Yvette Pendelton, Linda (Ricky) Hartsfield, Carletha (Simon) Ponder, Bonnie (Austin) Long, Shirley Garrison, and Pearl Claybrooks; six brothers in-law, Lawrence Falana, Kenneth Falana, Roland (Barbara) Falana, Rudolph (Constance) Falana, Leonard (Kimberly) Falana, and Wayne Falana. Aunts Lula Boatwright Harris and Bertha Boatwright Sims, and a host of other loving family and friends.
A Celebration of Life for George Bostick, Jr. will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 5, 2023 and a Visitation on Friday, August 4, 2023 6-8 PM both services at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 13255-118th Street No., Largo,33770.
